Skidmore, Owings & Merrill brings together specialists in architecture, engineering and urban planning. The firm's well-known projects include the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, One World Trade Center in New York and the Jin Mao Tower in Shanghai. In Kazakhstan, SOM designed the architecture of the Talan Towers in Astana.
For Iconic Complex, the firm created a concept inspired by the landscape of the Trans-Ili Alatau. The mountain relief is reflected in the silhouettes of the towers and in the stepped composition of the complex.
